Saskia Widdison, born 1996 in the depths of rural Bavaria. In a quaint town just below the mountain sloap’s, loves much like Heidi to frolic in nature and spend time with goats. Quite the opposite of her previous life, she is now residing in East Germany, where she explores the urban art culture.
I move between mural work and studio practice. Through my figurative paintings I search for the balance between looseness and control & striving to find that elusive sweet spot, creating portraits with a strong presence that reveal the vulnerable, sentimental side of the human experience.
